Dr Armando Mendes graduated from Coimbra University, Portugal, in 1997 and has been a valued member of The Gables Dental Practice team since 2010. With over 25 years of experience, he is known for his patient, kind, and calming approach, making every visit a positive experience for his patients.
Armando has a special interest in Endodontics, the field of dentistry concerned with treating the inside of the tooth, particularly root canal therapy. He deepened his expertise by completing a Master’s Degree in Endodontics at King’s College London. Alongside his passion for Endodontics, he also enjoys composite fillings and general restorative dentistry, always striving to deliver precise, high-quality work that restores both function and aesthetics.
Outside of the practice, Armando enjoys playing tennis, spending time with his family, and travels regularly to Portugal to visit his family. Armando also appreciates a good glass of champagne and a strong espresso.
