PATIENT INFORMATION

The is a great dental practice to go to, which sounds a little strange to say, being a nervous patient. I am always welcomed by a friendly, smiling face and made to feel comfortable. I needed a root canal treatment, which sounded scary but my dentist really put me at ease, kept checking I was ok and explained every step. I certainly would recommend as these recent visits have made me be more confident to return.

Today I had my six-monthly check-up, clean and polish, plus a filling in one front tooth by the brilliant Dr De Vos. Front teeth have always proved to be the most sensitive in my mouth when having a filling, but Dr De Vos is so skilled, careful and caring, knowing I don’t like injections in my mouth, she completed all of the work quickly, carefully and painlessly without the dreaded needle. She is an absolute treasure. She is the first dentist in my long life whom I do not feel nervous of visiting.

While on holiday in Cambridge . I had to call 111 because of trouble with one of my teeth. Fortunately I was given the contact details of the Gables Dentistry practice. Which turned to be a very friendly and helpful.
So a big thank you to all a the practice.

The service I received from the dentist, the dentist’s assistant and from those at reception was nothing short of fantastic and I am very grateful.

Megan was extremely attentive and made me feel extremely comfortable.

I was booked in at short notice for a much needed checkup following a course of chemotherapy.

I was surprised and grateful that my treatment of 3 fillings , clean and polish was done in one session. I particularly was pleased that it didn’t feel like 1.5 hours in the dentists chair.

The whole experience was excellent from the friendly reception given by Emma to the actual treatment carried out by Ryan.

I am delighted with the Invisalign treatment that I received from Miss de Vos. She is an amazing dental practitioner who is very professional, friendly, and caring.

She explained the whole process to me clearly and answered all my questions patiently. She also gave me regular feedback and encouragement along the way. The treatment was comfortable, convenient, and effective. I hardly noticed the aligners and I could remove them easily when I needed to eat or brush my teeth.

The results are spectacular: my teeth are now perfectly straight and I have a beautiful smile. I have received so many compliments from my friends and family. I also feel more confident and I am delighted with the results .

If I could give a 10 star rating I would! I had bad teeth crack damaged! It was embarrassing! I managed to get into the Dentist and I cried, I was so embarrassed. I have been a NHS patient at the Gables Dental Practice for 48 years (as was my late husband).
From the beginning to the present day, I have received excellent dental treatment.
Sometimes nerves would kick in, and confess to being extremely nervous, but was always treated with kindness and sensitivity.
Excellent receptionists set the tone for first class treatment..
I have recently moved further away, but wouldn’t dream of changing.

Fiona is insane, sorted out all of my teeth and made me want to smile with them for the first time! She is thorough and understanding and can make injections feel like nothing which is very impressive. All of the gables staff I have come across are so lovely and kind and I always leave with a smile, albeit a bit wonky after anaesthetic x

I’ve gone from being terrified of the dentist to feeling very comfortable and safe at this practice.
All staff are very friendly, kind and welcoming on every visit and my dentist is amazing, always explains each procedure along the course of my treatment so I know what to expect and aftercare is brilliant.
Just had bridge and composite veneers , along with a couple of extractions along the way.
Always taken very good care of.
Would certainly recommend this practice to anyone looking for a good dental experience.

Yes would highly recommend this dentist. I am terrified of dentist to the point of crying, the dentist man was very reassuring as was his assistant, explained everything to me what was happening, felt at ease. I give this dentist 5 stars top people even receptionist very polite with smile on her face, also there was not that smell that comes with dentist normally.

Excellent dentists, reception staff and Manager also nurses, always a pleasure to visit this dental surgery as their care and treatment is always excellent and professional

Today, I have attended this practice as a shielded person for extraction. What a wonderful professional practice we have here. The staff were very welcoming on entry taking full precautions against Coronavirus. The dentist and his assistant were terrific. No pain and such a relief to have the troublesome teeth removed. I cannot recommend this practice highly enough…I’m so pleased I was referred here. Thanks you so much.

The dentist is not one of my favourite places to visit due to past experiences in other practices. However, The Gables is on a different level. Always welcomed with a smile and treated as an individual. My dentist is Christopher and he is absolutely wonderful. Thank you to all the staff at The Gables. Had to have a dental extraction. Dr Leena was very kind and gentle and explained everything thoroughly while giving me lots of reassurance during the procedure. I was quite nervous but right from the beginning I knew I knew I was in safe hands.

I always enjoy visiting the Gables. The staff are friendly and professional, making you feel welcome and looked after. My 3yr old had an appointment the other day and the staff were wonderful with him whilst I had my appointment!

From the moment you arrive the reception is friendly and efficient.
All the staff deal with any situation in a calm and professional manner and always great you with a smile. The treatment is well explained and carried out smoothly and with the minimum of discomfort.

I struggled for years with feeling scared going to the dentist. Dr Valatka has taken all those fears away, as a wonderfully kind, professional and patient dentist. Her care and attention are second to none, and I know I am in great hands. My son had a very pleasant and relaxed first dental visit today, we were so thrilled that his early experiences will be so positive! Dr Blake restored several back teeth I’d resigned myself to lose. Moreover, she fitted me with veneers that look beautifully natural. She is as competent as she is dedicated. I’ve found my dentist.

I have just had composite fillings on my front teeth – it has transformed my smile. The dentist, Fiona Blake, is so calm and patient and aimed to get my teeth looking perfect. Also I find the reception staff friendly, professional and focused on customers. Thank you!

My husband and I visited the Gables today for our routine check up, and was welcomed with a friendly smile and a warm hello by the Receptionist, they are always very helpful and very kind. I just wanted to say how impressed I was this morning at my visit. All the receptionists made me feel very at ease. I was very worried about coming for my treatment as its the first time into cambridge since lock down. Paulo is an excellent dentist so caring first rate and his nurse very efficient x thank you again and keep up the good work.
